What Noah Wilkinson doesn't like about Chicago Rock Cafe:
went to chicagos to see naomi at the introduction of glitterbomb Basildon what a great night. beautiful open event, was a fun atmosphere, but naomi was everything. at the second meeting with her and she was as nice as her performance she put down the...house! Do more glitterbombs there and I will come back. View all feedback.
I haven't been to this restaurant in Old Las Vegas for years, and not much has changed in terms of decor, but the floors are sticky. The toilets definitely need a good cleaning and update. Despite these negative points, it was a surprisingly good night. The drinks were reasonably priced, the manager was friendly, the music was enjoyable, and the bouncers were a bit unfriendly, though they haven't changed much over the years. To be honest, they were a bit rude.
We had a negative experience at this restaurant during the England game. We were threatened with being kicked out for celebrating and spilling beer. When Tunisia scored, we were harassed for singing and threatened again. Despite being regular customers for ten years, we were treated poorly because it was a slow night for the restaurant. The staff were rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend this place and will be finding a new spot to watch the rest of the tournament. The bouncers were aggressive and unwelcoming. It's clear they only care about catering to England fans.
I have visited Chicago a few times and I have to say that it did not impress me. It is an okay place to go for drinks, but it is not my first choice. Recently, I went to a friend's birthday party where we had booked a table. The booking process was confusing and not very flexible. We paid £115 for a table, which included a bottle of vodka, two mixers, and some basic decorations. Unfortunately, the party turnout was not as expected, and we ended up losing money because we had to pay per person instead of booking the table as a whole. The club was not very busy, and the music did not match the theme promised for the event. The atmosphere was decent if you enjoy club-like music, and the security staff were friendly and efficient. The drinks were standard, with the disappointment of only having Monster energy drinks instead of Red Bull. Overall, Chicago is a good place for drinks and dancing, but I would not book a table there again for a special occasion. They could benefit from being more flexible with bookings and more attentive to event details.

Love the place. Met loads of new friends and always have a great time every time. The food is good and the people are friendly. Staff are lovely too. X
