I would say that’s the best coffee I’ve ever been. They are doing everything with last touched detail. Highly recommend! Definitely will go again

We were planning to have breakfast at a local garden centre, but there was a huge queue and by the time we got to the front they'd decided to stop serving break...

They didn’t take cards had to go cash machine. Very expensive my mate bought a bacon and cheese toasty on 1 slice of bread !!! £4.80

Came to collect some food and a hot chocolate for a relative in isolation. there are two sizes on the menu for hot chocolate, not that it states what the sizes...

"Went there for the sushi. The fish they use is good! The girl who was helping us could be a little bit more attentive but that’s okay. Now when it comes to sushi, there is 1 thing you need to do good and that is the rice. The rice wasn’t good, mainly too dense and it could use a little bit more flavour. It might have to do with the brand and the way they prepare the rice, but it needs to be fluffy and sticky. Pressing rice with force together to make it stick is something different …"

"An enjoyable experience. The service was great and very friendly, the steaks were good and so were the sides. It's a bit overpriced for what you get in my opinion, I've had better quality steak for less before. The sharing platter was a great experience and well priced compared to the rest. Chimichurri sauce was delicious. They added 12.5% service charge to the bill, which I think is a lot on top of the already expensive food. But you're welcome to decline the service charge and tip how you see fit which we ended up doing. Overall a lovely evening with good food!"

"On a wander round haunts of long ago, was disappointed with the Pheasant, which had run out of Guinness, charm, and, it seemed, hope. But no sooner had I left to plod sadly back into town than I came by this small cafe. Decided to revive my spirits with a coffee. Inside was greeted by the proprietress, a most welcoming, smart, erudite Brazilian. A Brazilian coffee shop on Mount Pleasant, Reading! Wonders will never cease. Of course, being Brazilian, Pau Brasil sold wonderful cakes. I asked about them, and the lady described the displayed delights enticingly. I couldn’t resist and took a seat outside on one of the two tables. Well, my cake was terrific–think it was called Ladrez or something–a sponge with chocolate chequers round the edges. Coffee excellent too. Pau Brasil had triggered a moment of Zen. The lady chatted to me out front and, when I asked, explained why the shop is called Pau Brasil, which involved a fascinating slice of cultural history. At the end, she said, “Thank you for being interested”. Que senhora maravilhosa! She and Pau Brasil made my day."

"Love this place. For me the best pub in the UK! Friendly service. A decent selection of ales at a good price. Didn't eat this time but the rolls are amazing. Lovely garden or watch the world go by out the front. Perfection!"

"After visiting the rainforest we came to dinner and there was no disappointment. The food appeared all cooked at home and the portions were generous and it tasted all delicious. Good price. Huge parking lot so much space to park our car house."
