we had a family meal in the hoddington arms. we were warmly welcomed and the service we received during our meal was exceptional, really great and chatty waitress that made suggestions from the menu and knew the weeping list. the food was well presented and cooked as we had asked. From a limited and not very interesting menu, we both opted for the burger a combination of classic beefburger and a short rib patty. The short rib didn't taste like beef and the burger was overcooked, dry and gristly. We both left most of it. When the pub reopened for indoor eating we had a lovely Sunday lunch but something has gone horribly wrong since then. We are not likely to return any time soon. read more.
