Not know what we wanted and having no menu at home we had to go in to order and wait for the foo to be cooked. I have to say we have waited longer at other places when we had pre-ordered over the phone then driving down to collect. Our order was pretty straight forward and it was cooked to order, spring rolls, prawn crackers, sweet and sour pork, special fried rice plus beef and chicken dishes. We used to eat at Jims more often but took a break as the quality was declining. We went back after about 6 months and had a selection of food. It was ok, average, but not terrible. Nothing to shout about really, but then again what take away is these days. So pretty much average for Basingstoke. read more.

Lovely friendly lady always serving ...the bbq ribs are the best in basingstoke in my opinion ...everything else nice too

"Was an interesting experience. Not the traditional Thai restaurant many will be use to. They are more of an luxury authentic Thai experience not expected in Alton definitely similar to some London restaurants. The food is amazing but does take a while to be served as cooked fresh. For my teens the was menu restricted as they are use to pad Thai, authentic prawn crackers, red curry, massaman, panang etc. with the option of having the dishes with chicken. Menu is great for seafood lovers including myself. For me the restaurant is perfect for a date night or with groups of adults. The price of the dishes is on the higher end, this is expected as using good quality ingredients and really well presented dishes. I did miss the prawn crackers and the option to have flat rice noodles. 4 starters, 4 mains and drinks came to around £120. Two teens and two adults. Definitely will go again. You should try it. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Lovely little tearoom on the Alresford high street. I had the Watercress afternoon tea but they allowed me to change to the egg and watercress sandwich to another on their menu it'd be nice if this had been an option from the off, but no complaints considering they allowed for this anyway. I loved the selection of teas also (there are about 2 3 pages of various blends and flavours); it really made it feel like these guys know their tea. Next time i go i will be bringing back some Russian Caravan! Looking forward to coming back again soon."
