We had friends from NZ staying and they wanted to sample a traditional pub with character. The Swan and its staff were excellent. Warm welcome, fast and efficient service, and well cooked and presented meals. Our friends were still talking about their pub visit when we dropped them off at the airport the next day. The food was good and the dessert was superb. Friendy table service by the ladies serving. Minus two stars for the rather patronising attitude of the gent taking bookings as you went in and also serving behind the bar who I assumed was the owner or manager or acted as if he was. Super friendly staff and the pub is lovely. The food was really good to and came quickly even though it was a saturday night.
Delicious food, friendly and kind staff members. Definitely will be back soon. Beautiful old traditional place with lovely garden.
