"My partner and I have been once before for a family birthday a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. We booked a table for tonight, and it was nothing short of amazing. The restaurant is small but the seats are very well situated. It is very clean with beautiful decor which makes it a lovely relaxing place to eat. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a waiter, and was quickly shown to our table. We had drinks to our table within 10 mins of being seated at well as complimentary olives and bread! We ordered our starter which were perfect every way, as was our mains. There really was no complaints at all. The staff were very friendly and everything about the restaurant was above and beyond. I will be returning and highly recommend it to anyone that wishes for a quiet and delicious meal out. Thank you to all at The Olive House."

"First arrived the restaurant was busy but the server says we could sit out side, I wish she would have said we’re full but ended up waiting a long time to get our starter, then waited another 30 minutes before the first mains turned up but then my partner had to wait another 5- 10 minutes to get hers, My dinner did not taste very nice the chicken tasted like it was frozen and heated up with no seasoning. The starters were not very nice and slightly cold . During our long wait we noticed a consistent supply of deliveroo cyclist turning up for online orders, I understand this might of helped a restaurant survive during covid but those times are gone and now the wait times have shot up because of this. Waste of money the quality has suffered compared to how it used to be run, what a shame the place used to be amazing"

"We are regular customers at this local fish@chips restaurant and have always had a very good dining experience. However on this occasion everything that could go went absolutely wrong. The customer service was so poor we nearly walked out.We were kept waiting for half hour...for our food to arrive.The excuse the manager gave was because we had one starter the “rule” is to wait for half hour before serving the “main” course!!!! In the meantime two other families who came after us were served and by the time our food arrived one family had finished and the other were ordering their deserts!!!! When our meals eventually were served everything was cold, the chips tasted bitter as if the oil hasn’t been changed for a while.The fish/cod was thin and covered in huge amounts of batter which also had an after taste.The whole meal was awful and a complete waste!!!! Because of our previous experiences we expected better and the very least an understanding apology from the manager who was extremely defensive and rude.I know we would have had better customer service experience from our local McDonald’s! We think the manager would definitely benefit from some customer care experience…."

"It was my 50th birthday, so I wanted to order in advance...they couldn't have been more helpful. The food was delivered on time; it was delicious and hot (heat) and all six of us really enjoyed the food. Thank you Kathmandu for the fantastic food and fantastic service."
