1st try of our Local Restaurant What a lovely meal, Quality, Authentic and reasonably Price, Really enjoyed it and will 100% use again Friendly Staff We ordered Onion Bhajee Mixed Tandoori Tandoori Chicken 5*Tandoori King Prawn Massala (a must Try won't be disappointed)and Chicken Tikka Biryani with green Chilli Nan.

In pleasant weather you can even be served in the outdoor area.

What Bradley Knight doesn't like about Bombay Spice:
Would not recommend the food, my Tikka Masala has no vegetables (not even onions It just tasted like passata. My hubbys garlic garlic chicken had no flavour. The garlic naan was dry and had little taste. This used to be our favourite curry house! Will...not be ordering from there again. read more.

Absolutely beautiful meal tonight from the Bombay! So tasty We tried some different Tandoori dishes tonight and we were not disappointed.

"Coldish saturday afternoon in December. Every pub and bar in town was packed to overflowing, but this small pub, (micro pub really) sandwiched between two other pubs was quieter with spare seating. Started with a local brew, sat outside and conversed congenially with a local. Went inside for second drink. Fancied something different and asked if a wheat beer was available. The lady said no. A gent at the bar said they had Leffe if I wanted Belgian and pointed to a bottle on the shelf. Next to it I noticed a bottle of Blue Moon . I suggested this was in a wheat beer, but she was adamant it was not it was a white beer. I insisted and she inspected it and then agreed it was indeed wheat. She did apologise, but I was disappointed I had to tell her about her job. The beer was enjoyable. Did not eat, but looking at the blackboard I would say it was more light snacks than proper meals but prices looked ok."

"Fantastic service from the Devonshire Arms! From booking to eating the whole experience was first class. We booked a table for 10 for my sons 17th birthday. I was sent confirmation and the preorder document within 5 minutes of my call. We added another guest too at no extra trouble. Staff were friendly on arrival and extended impeccable service throughout the night. The food!! Exceptional. So tasty and you could tell the menu was considered and everything had been cooked with care. Steak was cooked to perfection. Compliments to the chef! Everything else ordered was fresh and piping hot. Portion sizes gave more than moneys worth, even the kids menu didn’t leave my 9yo niece hungry! We had a range of starters, mains with sides and desserts and everything was outstanding. A bit off the beaten track but definitely a hidden gem that’s worth the drive! To all the staff, thanks for a memorable evening! We will be sure to return!"
