Being a local I've been eating at Maxine's for years, it was our go to place for breakfast. In the last couple of years the food and the service had gone way down and we quit going there. Yesterday we decided to give it another try, went there and were pleasantly surprised it is back to the great place it was before! Food was good, service was good. Bastrop?s best. Surprise opened with half and half iced tea. Wow ! Im not sure what brand the tea is but it was exceptional. Plenty of ice makes me very happy.
