"We thoroughly enjoyed a weekend getaway at Guesthouse! From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the multiple spaces/amenities available to us. The rooms were clean and nicely upgraded. The photos with this review show Guestroom1, which had a prime location on the property: GORGEOUS mountain views and near the guesthouse so it was easy to get tobreakfast, drinks from the bar, dinner, the pool, everything. There are tons of hiking trails in the area, literally just a fewminutes away. The property is definitely off the beaten path and in more treacherous weather, an AWD vehicle would probably beneeded. On the topic of vehicles, we drove our EV to Guesthouse and needed to charge. The owners allowed us to plug in to a walloutlet (there is not Level 2 charging at this time). The pool and pool bar were the place to be! Emily at the bar was supercool and made us great drinks. I was a big fan of the Purple Rain and of course the Aperol Spritz. They also had drinks servedin small buckets which were popular. Guesthouse had amazing live entertainment both nights we were there. One night was a localpainter who created a piece from start to finish (think Bob Ross). The other night there was a musician who played guitar andsang. This is a wonderful gay-friendly destination just a couple hours from the DMV area!"
