I ADORE Johnnys! It quickly became my go to neighborhood bar when I moved to NYC. The drinks are strong and cheap. The atmosphere is an idyllic dive bar full of odds and ends decorating the place. It's dark and quaint and gets PACKED on the weekends arrive early for some decent bar real estate, not a great place for large groups. I finally had the chance to check this place since I was in the neighborhood. I wasn't impressed at all. At first it was a sausage factory that didn't mean female customers. Apparently they no longer have PBR and their cheapest drink is a $6 design. Why come here if you can go to coyote ugly for $3 PBRs? It had a diving bar, but def non-dive prices.
