The service is excellent, no complaints with the friendly staff, couldnt ask them to be nicer without it being weird, but to be honest i have been in a few times now, every time i have been in there has been an issue with my...order, very simple things that are avoidable, like when i ask for a sandwhich with a tiny bit of mustard, like spread it as thing as butter on the bun, and it ends up piled on like lettuce, or when it takes mins to make a single burger that is meh, or when i order a big breakfast, and nothing is cooked right, i would check your deep fryer cause everything i have had fried has been stale and tastes like refried chips or old hashbrowns, the sausages are as tough as leather and have no flavor, the fried tomato and mushrooms arent fried, there just soaked in oil and dumped in a pile in the corner to seep all over everything else, and the bacon was the worst, you cant cook bacon like that, the rind that you left on, is crispy to the point where it can be described as solid but the rest of the bacon is almost raw and dripping juices, you are supposed to char and render bacon in its own fats, tbh i could cook a better meal at home, if i had your equipment and stock i would be producing a much higher standard of food at the same price points, its no good having excellent ingredients and stock, and pre making sandwhiches, when you cant cook anything on the fly without making mistakes repeatedly and losing a customer because they get sick of the repeated issues with ordering, like i get it, things happen, but why repeatedly to me, you can keep the money for the sandwhich, i wont be back for it sorry, and for the sake of all that is decent in this world, youtube how to cook bacon please

My husband and I passed here today and decided to pop in for a coffee, rather then go into town. I ordered a flat white, extra hot and no froth, together with an egg and lettuce sandwich. My husband had a weak latte and...a muffin. We were happy with our choice of food and coffees came as ordered. Service was very polite and helpful. This cafe is Covid safe. My friend told me they have delicious hamburgers at Chews, so we will return and give them a try

You know that awful feeling you get when you open the bag from one of those well known fast food outlets, and your burger looks nothing like the photo on their wall. I think Chews on Hughes is where that photo came from. A really...great burger, nice fresh lightly toasted bun, lovely tasty beef pattie, fresh lettuce and tomato divine. This is a really great take away, and far cheaper than that fast food rubbish you get from the big name outlets. Also great service and a wide variety of options for burgers. This is where the tradies get their lunch, and that has got to be a really good sign!!
