"Family friendly seafood restaurant. Reasonably priced and nothing flash. We dined here after receiving recommendations whilst we were working in the area. We both enjoyed the grilled seafood platters with sides of sweet potato chips and seasonal vegetables. It wasn’t busy at all and service...was good. Only negative was the floor felt very sticky."

"As locals we regularly buy fish and chips from Smoky Dan's and have been very happy. Sadly the portion sizes of both the fish and chips is diminishing every time we order. Tonight's final purchase was the worst of all! The length of the fish was approximately two and a half slices of lemon! The thickness was extremely thin as well. Sorry guys but for $19 this is outrageous. Given that you swapped out three flat head tails for two cheap NZ Hoki fillets and INCREASED the price you should be ashamed. "We had fish and chips on the boat. Fish was really nice. Captain was Billy Jean..they were nice and friendly and helped us with pram... It was our sons 3rd birthday and they gifted him a 24 pack of mini cup cakes. They mustve rushed to woolies to buy for him in the half hour we wait to set off on boat as we were early. Excellent customer service. Nice day to spend with family on boat. We stopped at nelligen"

"I have been twice within 2 weeks now & had the same dry tasteless fried rice ever! I ordered chicken chow mein with fried noodles & got home 20 kms away & no noodles ! We also ordered vegetarian spring rolls which had a bitter taste to them & were not pleasant at all, the dipping sauce was so acidic that i could not use it either. The rice tasted like leftovers re fried many times over. The corn & crab meat soup was also tasteless. A bitter disappointment & waste of $60.00"
