"Great little place with a very friendly staff. We stayed in Batemans Bay for 3 nights and became almost 'regulars' because other places we tried were simply not so good value for money for breakfast and lunch. The "minimum breakfast" was perfect for those who want... a lighter start to the day, more than toast and cereals. Great coffee! We made waffles for lunch and I had to go back and more for breakfast on the way out of town. I had the Canadian (with bacon and maple syrup) and my partner had a huge banana and strawberry covered waffle with ice. Very recommended."

"Absolutely terrible. Two of us ordered grilled snapper and grilled garlic puzzles with chips. Chips were completely blond and undercooked. Snapper was as hard as overcooked chicken and the shrimps were not grilled and we are the frozen Vietnamese type. My friend... had Quid, who had somehow removed any taste. Soft, but absolutely tasteless. We complained to the waitress who showed her how hard the fish was and she says what I can do for you to help. I told her we were in a hurry so we can't wait until another plate is cooked, maybe at least a discount. Next, managers and cook come out. I showed them both how my fork could bounce from this fish and the cook actually said that "as it must be cooked, it can not be cooked less than that?! What? There's nowhere between raw and rubber? I even cut it with fork and knife to show them how hard it was. They wanted to recognize everything. No, thanks. We paid the bill and not $1 discount. How he can be a cook is beyond me. directly on the water in a coastal town and it was unpredictable! $30 for a lunch special and was not worth $5"

"I used to go to sliced up in Batemans bay but I have just been referred to Heat by a family member who said the pizzas were amazing, he was correct I had a BBQ chicken pizza this evening and I have to admit it was by far the best pizza restaurant in Batemans Bay by far the staff are friendly, the shop cleanliness was 6 star and the pizzas were amazing! Do yourself a favour and make Heat your first preference in Batemans Bay you won't be disappointed:)"

"As locals we regularly buy fish and chips from Smoky Dan's and have been very happy. Sadly the portion sizes of both the fish and chips is diminishing every time we order. Tonight's final purchase was the worst of all! The length of the fish was approximately two and a half slices of lemon! The thickness was extremely thin as well. Sorry guys but for $19 this is outrageous. Given that you swapped out three flat head tails for two cheap NZ Hoki fillets and INCREASED the price you should be ashamed. "Spacious and dog friendly, so families with young kids and dogs may enjoy the experience. Personally I found the food was overpriced and average. We waited 20 min for a 7/11 quality piece of banana bread that costed us $7.15. To top it off the staff wasn't particularly friendly, and you had to order through a QR code with an additional service fee. Don't think I'll come back"

"We all had Chinese the Saturday night and it was delish, Salt and pepper king prawns sweet and sour pork, snag choy bow, amongst other dishes including rice dishes, the Fried Dim Sims are worth the money as I could have made a meal just by itself with sweet and sour sauce but we all went buffet style and shared the meal. I noticed the prawn dishes had gone up and when I asked the waitress she said they had to charge $2 extra due to prawns shortage. Anyhow, we all had a nice meal and it was very filling. I did notice that all the other prices had gone up since my last meal there and I'm sure it hadn't been that long ago. I found 2 menu's which had 2 different prices and the one in the Restaurant was different again. Is it because of Christmas?"
