"This was no doubt the WORST fish and chip experience in my life. I ordered the Cod, which was the freshest looking fish in the window. More about this later… Medium chips, calamari and potato scallops. The food was incredibly greasy and heavy. I felt immediately sick afterwards. Now, back to the “Cod”. This fish is mislabelled. It is in fact, as I found out later, actually a fish called Rudderfish! Please google it. If you eat more than a very small portion you get horrid oily yellow discharge from your skin and even bad diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting! So buyers beware, this fish is very low cost and mostly discarded by other fishmongers because of these effects."

"Loved the battered fish, tassie scallops and calamari. The batter wasn't too heavy and didn't hold oil like other places. Everything including their home made tartare sauce was delicious, however, the gravy was not good. Best battered fish and chips I've had in a while. Reasonably priced and the gentleman who served me (perhaps the owner) was very friendly. There's a great little outdoor park and huge grass area where you can dine/picnic very family friendly."

"We had a wonderful time. Staff were great in a very busy evening service. The pizza's were lovely and the fried chilli olives were delicious. So it was very worth while travelling from Bundaberg and Victor Harbour. So make sure you book as it is a very busy restaurant."
