We were told Bigs was a great place and so we wanted to stop in for a bite! Definitely worth it!! Katie was such a sweet, fun waitress, great service and a bright personality! I bet she has a great smile behind that mask. The food was amazing! Sandwich was delicious! Will go back for sure!! View all feedback.
Big's is one of the best restaurants in Batesville. While there are limited choices in restaurants, the cooks at Big's take care of the food they send out. The corned beef and hash sandwiches with an egg are the best I had anywhere. They can tell about their pride on their food through the taste of each menu item.
Really great food and service! Sandwiches are served in Panini style. The salads were top shelf. I recommend the Jalapeño Mayonnaise as a contingent.
Great place. BIG'S of Batesville is one of the best sandwich shops I've ever had. The service is unprecedented, and the food is perfect. My favorite dish is to build a separate sandwich. It is a grilled chicken and Swiss on Ciabatta with Tabasco above. It's wonderful. Great restaurant with an amazing environment and even better food.
Great local restaurant. Located on the main street, this restaurant has an atmosphere that you expect to find in a larger city. The service is unmatched. I was originally skeptical because I'm not a sandwich person, but I love BIG 'S. All I tried was great and all sandwiches and wraps are more than enough food for me; I wish they had half sizes. My favorite menus include Steve and PJs Favorit. The burgers are also great.
A surprise for the better.. Visiting my mom from Fayetteville I asked to go to the Greasy Spoon on Main Street for the Philly Cheese that I would have any visit home. Being a little Distraught learning it had closed down I asked what was there and was told a new place called Big's. Off we went for the Reuben that my mom has had there and highly recommended. Never having had a Reuben before off we went. Walk in and brightly welcomed in from Anthony (one of the owners and genuinely a nice guy). Still worried whether it would live up to the Philly Cheese I was used to I was relieved upon first bite. The freshly toasted panini Rye bread was the perfect medium to both complement and hold the gooey melted swiss cheese and sauerkraut. The 1,000 island gave just the right amount of sweetness to balance the sauerkraut and saltiness of the Swiss and Corned Beef. A perfect melody of flavors and textures. I will no longer be craving the aforementioned Philly Cheesesteak. Great energy in this place, friendly people, very clean and a family business named after their children. What's not to love?
