"We were in town for a quick overnight and trusted the Yelp reviews instead of taking the advice from the hotel clerk on where to eat, that was a mistake. The beer was good, I can say that much but the service was minimal at best, like we were an inconvenience. The menu was very sparse compared to what was posted online so after we ordered our appetizer we decided to just call it a night instead of staying for dinner. The pretzels we received were little better than the ones you get at convenience stores. We left hungry and annoyed."

"I was looking forward to a nice afternoon lunch with my granddaughter who is incredibly well behaved and loves to eat out and act like a big girl using a fork at age 2 1/2. I was told they don't have booster seats then I was told they don't have children's menu that's OK I said we just wanted french fries and I was going to have a salad they brought the french fries and then they left and didn't say a word never looked at me and my granddaughter had to get up and go find them for ketchup They are the rudest place to go to and they do not like children do not bring your children I would recommend you not go"

"Over this past memorial day weekend my husband and I had the most wonderful experience at Ocean Point Inn. We were lucky enough to pick the Inn as the site for our wedding reception. When we choose the resort we already knew the location was going to be beautiful but the overall experience we had exceeded all of our expectations. The day was perfect and the staff took care of everything which allowed us to enjoy our special day with friends and family! The staff was professional, kind, funny and welcoming; they truly made you feel like you were a part of the family. The food was delicious and the way they set up the dining room for our guests was beautiful. Of course you just can’t beat the view and location. We have had so many wonderful comments from our family and friends about the reception and resort. We would recommend Ocean Point Inn to any and all couples looking for a beautiful place to hold a reception. We, along with the majority of our friends and family, also stayed in one of the cottages or rooms for the weekend. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and all within view and walking distance to the Ocean. We couldn't have asked for better service, meal or facility. "Gurnet Trading is a tried and true spot for seafood! We always stop at least a few times when we are in Harpswell! I don 't recall seeing the crab Rangoons on the menu the last time we were here, but they were the best I 've ever had!!! Crab roll was delicious as well! Of course, we ended our meal with blueberry pie and a peanut butter whoopie pie which were both awesome! We took a frozen seafood stew to go as well! They have a great variety to go items, but you can eat there as well! Fun lobster gift shop -including lobster sandals! Staff is super friendly and helpful!"
