My partner and I spent the night at Hambleton Hall to cap off a week in Nottinghamshire.
Just a quick update to shower further praise upon Hambleton Hall following a recent meal First, the food was just as amazing as usual.

"One of the best restaurants of bath. very surprised to see that there is not a Michelin star as it is on this standard with eating and service. some of the dishes were very inventive and not their usual “modern French cuisine” that made it refreshing. it was also a nice note that the cook come to deliver some of the dishes and talk about them. certainly made the whole experience more personal."

"Love love love this place. The coffee is divine. The vegan cakes are phenomenal! I've also tried the curried cauliflower pasty which I loved. The vibe is great in there, staff are friendly. I cannot recommend it enough to vegans specifically. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I believe indoors has a stepped entrance if I remember rightly so not easily accessible for prams and wheelchairs. But obviously in summer there is outside."

"What a fabulous meal at the wonderful Sotto Sotto restaurant. We both ate pistaccio encrusted steak with the most divine gravy sauce, perfectly cooked medium, rosemary potatoes very moorish, could eat their food forever and not stop! Such a lovely location and environment. The staff were absolutely fantastic, the lovely Veronica and Lauchiano (apols, not sure of spelling). Cocktails and a very special complementary drink at the end that we have never tasted before was absolutely gorgeous. The toilets were extremely clean. Fellow diners were lovely as well. You must go, worth every penny of money. Much more beautiful and inviting than the photo here."

"One of the places I wanted to checkout while on my trip abroad. TONS of games, as one would expect from a place like this. Food tasted great, drinks were good but I think were I to return I'd skip out on the liquor drinks and stick with a beer. The mixed drinks could have been a lot stronger. The game we checked out seemed to be in good condition and not covered in food or stains so that was a nice plus. I've been to other board game places where that wasn't the case. The location is adorable and captures a good atmosphere. A great place to spend a few hours with friends."

"This day the toast room was left, it was really a nice and super friendly place. the vibes was really so relaxing with all the grasses there! at that day a flat white snapped, it was really nice in terms of taste. a little nutty in the taste"
