I made a note to pay Shack a visit because, ever since my five-year stint in Chicago, I love barbecue, and a good pulled pork sandwich above all.

Ive been searching for a good fish taco place, and seeing the shack under the "american cuisine", I had high expectations.

I LOVE SHACK (baby, love shack). Second visit since it opened and it's only gone and got better still! Had the blackened steak with mac'n'cheese side -

"The vegetarian breakfast was fantastic and we were generally happy with the coffee and eggs on toast. I was however a little disappointed to be charged $10 for two bits of plain toast with butter for our daughter. The decor is also extremely dated and could definitely do with a refresh and the menus were just old dirty and ratty plastic sleeves with printouts in them. "Oct 22 Well not a lot has changed since my last visit outstanding steak and to die for slaw 5 star However, the wine list, accompanying such a magnificent steak is still underwhelming and unacceptable This time the house wine and only wine is Billy’s shadow, which retails at Dan Murphys for circa nine dollars Also, the toilet facilities were very underwhelming to say the least Aug 22 Well prepared and cooked steak, packed full of flavour Slaw and special bbq to die for Only down side, underwhelming wine selection to enjoy with the delicious steak Will be back"

"We chose the $35 banquet and the meal was delicious. We went on a very busy Friday night, and I gave it four stars instead of five because of a booking issue. Even though I left a message a week before, they didn’t have our reservations. Luckily, they found us a table, but it was small and made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable. "Got takeaway..pretty high prices for tiny piece of brisket. One serving was delicious. Fall apart.. the other serving was not cooked long enough was dry and chewy..see pic.. the pieces on the right. Yuk.Side's were nice. Chips not that great. But the guy serving was really good. Professional and friendly."
