the fried cats and the holy poboy were great. the garnel and the grits were good, would have been better without so much heavy, and if the garnel tails had been removed. service was very good every time. very loud, but very busy. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Willie's Restaurant Bar:
meet friends for dinner. kellnerin was kind, beer keg problems led to change in drink order, smetterling garnelen art by bland, gumbo was tasty, cajun queso was in order. very expensive man, and I shared out and still dinner was over $80. not sure if we were going back. View all feedback.
First time to go here and I must say it was Goodt!!!! Yes I said GOODT!!! They are very busy and we had to wait an hour, but it was worth it. Everything came good and hot. The pork rolls were very good with the Pao sauce and the Beauregard was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is in the area to go
Willie’s is one of the best Cajun food sites we were! We'll come back when we get to LA! The service was phenomenal on its delicious food! We had the crab legs, rubber cups, red fish and the Cajun cheese dimmer! Every single court was so good! We highly recommend Willie’s!
Nice restaurant, small waiting on a Monday evening and fantastic crust fish. $6 a lb is not bad for this time of year (January) and they were moderate in size. The wings were also fantastic. Nice to meet you.
Delicious! The red fish is amazing!! Enough to share. Dress the pepper. We are out of town and this is one of our favorite places!!
We were passing through and wanted seafood, so we stopped at Willie's. I had the tuna tacos and my husband had the Cajun pasta. We were both impressed. (And my husband is hard to impress). We even made a point to time our return trip home so that we could enjoy Willie's again. 2nd trip I had the seafood potato (pretty sure 3 people could feed on it and be full). Husband had the reddish dish. Both were so good. Thankfully we are homeward bound and have to-go boxes with our leftovers. Both of our visits were Saturdays in Dec. They were doing some sort of promotion with the Grinch, but our service was never interrupted. It was cute and their Grinch did a great job.
