"Came to Penang for a holiday and found this gem in the heart of the city. The best bistro I've been through out my travels in Asia. Very reasonable price on cocktails and beers try their signature dishes.. it's out of this world. Awesome live music every night from rock, blues country. Trust me it's freaking good. Very friendly staffs and the owner is so humble whereby he finds time to sit and chat with his guests. Really made me my mates feel welcome at home. If only I could take this piece of gem to Australia and make it my own. Definitely coming back on my next visit."

"The Guan Guan Cafe is an unassuming and understated eatery with incredibly attentive staff. It's very local and certainly family run. The quality of the food was great as was the speed of service. Will definitely be going back!"
