Our server was great. We never went without water or coffee. We had the breakfast bar. I wasn’t too impressed with it though. The sausage gravy for the biscuits was like glue. The biscuits were stale. And the eggs did not taste well. If it wasn’t for the service, I would have rated it lower. View all feedback.
What Daphne O'Hara doesn't like about Big Boy:
Today was an awful experience. Went out to have a makeshift turkey day lunch and got the completely wrong order brought out to the table, was not served for 15+ minutes, had to have a waitress change because of the original one not performing her job. The only saving grace is that the manager gave us a discount on our meal and the new waitress was incredibly nice and apologetic. View all feedback.
The menu is pretty good. the service is appropriate. the prices are average, except the salatbar seems from the sortiment. they can get a plate of the same tool for less, except they lose the opportunity to go gay. at the weekend is breakfast bar fun. all that that her wife won't let her eat.
Worst experience I've ever had in a restaurant without even eating. Ten minutes of waiting to be seated for a party of 3 , we had to point out to an employee we were there to be acknowledged. The waitress was pleasant and we asked for a few minutes to decide, roughly 15 minutes later she returned and placed our order. which consisted mostly of items already on the buffet Waiting 15 minutes for a refill of water, numerous dead bugs on the ledge inches from the booth, 35 minutes without being checked on once or told why the hold-up , and other customers receiving their food before us that showed up after, we opted to leave.
Going off of just this one encounter, we experienced some generic poor service: Food took too long to come to us (we asked for our toddler's food to come as soon as it was done which didn't happen) and our waitress was very scarce. Considering the low amount of ppl there eating at the time, j was surprised to see how long it took for our food. The price is decent compared to other places though. The food was alright

My husband and I went there on Saturday about 5:00 p.m.. When we 1st walked in the specials sign said that they had a seafood buffet and so we were going to get that. When we sat down and inquired with our waitress, she said that she 'd have to check with the kitchen. They didn 't have that being served today, it was Fridays special. (So it was wrong for 24 hours?? OK fine. Then I had ordered the salad bar because of the cheese and broccoli soup. that they have and when I went up to get some, they were out of that too, again waitress went to kitchen and they are out for the day. I told her that 's the only reason I got the salad bar, her response... oh, sorry . Nothing else, normally another suggestion would 've been made etc. At check out, when asked if we enjoyed our meal, I said no, it was disappointing...again oh, sorry. Unacceptable, never once did we get another answer. We definitely will not be returning to the bay city location, we will stick with Clio where at least we would have gotten a better answer.
