What ruskinleaf doesn't like about Chang-hai:
It's hard to be too critical of the lady who was running this restaurant single-handedly. Front of house, service, serving drinks and cooking. Hardly surprising then that everything was slow and food was delivered as she had finished preparing it and occasionally fulfilling drinks orders in between.
