"Went here for birthday celebration. I was impressed. The wait staff was super friendly and told us some funny stories. I ordered the alaskan halibut with sweet potatoes and asparagus. It was delicious. We shared a bottle of wine and also shared the creme brulee trio. The espresso one was so good and our favorite. I have been here 3 years and this place is a hidden gem. "The first two times we ate here the food was excellent, as was the service. Something has gone wrong recently. Last week our drinks didn't seem to have any alcohol in them. This week we ordered the poutine appetizer which was supposed to have crispy, shoestring fries. It was served with regular fries which were undercooked and soggy. We also ordered the jambalaya. What we got was a bowl of rice with spicy tomato sauce, about six slices of sausage, and about six tiny calamari rings. And I mean tiny. The third entree was the pork tenderloin. Our guest felt the portion was small and dry. The drinks were okay because we had the mix and alcohol delivered separately. I hope they fix whatever is going wrong because we hoped to make the Bistro our special local restaurant."
