Roxy - Bayreuth

Visited Bayreuth on a business trip and really wanted to watch some English Premier League games. With the German Bundesliga, wasn't sure whether games were televised and if they were, whether any places would even show them. Roxy's have German Sky as well as other...streaming subscriptions, with a multiple tv setup capable of showing many channels simultaneously. The staff are very accommodating, having no issue finding the game I was looking for, and the service is pretty good. Ended up going there on separate occasions in the week, watching EPL as well as Champions League. The food is decent enough and the beer keeps flowing. Worth a visit if your primary reason is to watch some sports.

Perhaps you can have a drink after the movies but stay away from the food! Extremely overpriced and really bad. We had nacos where the ground beef and cheese were burned all over whereas the chicken in the ceasar salad was undercooked and tasteless. Never...again!!

Went there on a sunny sunday for early lunch. there was still the brunch buffet going on, but still found a spot quickly. staff showed up quickly and confirmed we could still order fromthe regular menu despite the brunch buffet. i ordered the El Torro...burger with a side of cole slaw. it was quite a hard choice since many of the burgers not only sounded tasty but showed a creative mind in the kitchen. Drinks arrived quickly (no plastic straws here, but rather glass ones and not much later our food arrived. Both my beef burger and my friend's vegan burger were very tasty. Even after the food arrived service was still attentive without being intrusive. I went back two more times later that month and always got served hearty and tasty food.

Prices were ok but one of our burgers came out almost raw in the middle, they did bring out a new burger but I was finished with mine by the time my wife's came out. Table was uncomfortable, at least the one we were at.
