I really enjoy the jjam pong at this restaurant. I believe it is the best place for jjam pong in Queens. Also, be sure to try the pork tang su yook. The servers are always friendly, both in person and over the phone. View all feedback.
What Namix doesn't like about Joong Koog Jip- Korean Chinese:
Big location that fit our reservation party of 14. For my section of the table, we had Ja Jang Myun (Large), Tang Soo yuk-Beef, half and half of the Seafood Jjam Pong Ja Jang Myun. It was all delicious, especially fulfilling our Ja Jang Myun cravings. Plus the staff was super friendly patient with us all. View all feedback.
The food was delicious! The price was reasonable at $35 per person, including tips. We waited approximately 15 minutes for our food. Having the option of two different types of noodles in one dish is perfect for indecisive food lovers like me.
We discovered a fantastic restaurant with great prices for the lunch special. The portion size was huge and came with a delicious seafood soup.
I went to this restaurant for dinner with friends for the first time and was impressed by the large portions. The Jjajang Myun could easily serve two people, and the Tang Soo Yuk was big enough to feed a whole family. If you prefer to control the amount of sauce on the Tang Soo Yuk, you can request it on the side.
If you're craving Korean-Chinese cuisine, this restaurant never fails to impress. The quality is always consistent, the food and service are excellent, and the atmosphere is clean. The only drawback is that parking can be a little challenging at times. I would recommend trying the classic dishes like jjajangmyun, jjampong, and fried dumplings. I've also sampled other items on the menu and they were all delicious, so you can't go wrong with anything here.
I was hungry one evening and decided to try the kimchi fried rice at this restaurant. It was amazing! The service was simply incredible, and I particularly enjoyed the interaction with the elderly staff members who made me feel like I was being taken care of by a grandparent. The prices were affordable, and I would definitely consider coming back again. Although I did notice that I was the only black person in the restaurant and received some stares, it did not take away from the overall great experience.
