Although we didn't purchase any food, we did buy ice cream from the neighboring restaurant. The portions were surprisingly generous, even for small sizes. The service was excellent. We also explored the upstairs area where they had antiques for sale, and ended up buying a beautiful light fixture. Originally priced at $45, the staff member accepted my offer of $35. What Robert Ward doesn't like about Miss Nelle's Antiques:
I love the convenience of Miss Nellie's but I purchased 2 soups to go and when I got back to the cottage I was shocked at what they put in the takeout container. I wish I could show you the picture. It was a bowl of mush. There was no soup at all, just the hash/mush of the soup. I paid $23 Tip (go figure). If I had taken the time to look at the takeout container, I would never have paid for the mush. Very poor qualit... View all feedback.
