What User likes about Monterey House:
This place brings back so many good memories from my childhood. My mom, my grandparents, and I used to frequent a location they had in Houston more than 30 years ago. It closed and we had no idea they still had a location oprn. By pure chance my mom stumbled upon this one; it's the only one left and it has been here for 56 years. Came in after the rush. The restaurant might have 4 tables that weren't busy at all. The food was good, but the service was terrible. I couldn't get a refill because the waitress was busy working with other employees. But the food and the price were great. I'm back. Everyone deserves a second chance....? View all feedback.
