"I was expecting much more with all the rave reviews. The service is great, we made a reservation luckily! The schnitzel was ok, not one of the best I had, and the shpatzle was quite bland. The pork loin and rump steak in mushroom sauce...was ok, meat wasn't very tender, sauce was good. Their home brew was tasty. I definitely wouldn't have chosen this had I known..."

"Pros: Really like the atmosphere in and out side, it is romantic and casual. There is a book of wines to choose from and a shop. The owner and staff are very nice and helpful when ordering from the seasonal menu which is neat. It is your typical quiet German atmosphere where everyone wispers at their table and the service is slow. Cons: The portions are tiny, prices are high and the food was not as tasty as we were expecting. The menu is limited choosing from scallops to odd animal parts) but they did not have vegetarian options. Also, we went to enjoy the wine and our bottle of wine was placed on a nearby table, and since their service is slower in Germany, they aren't quick to refill your glass : Also, there is a 9,00 Euro uncorking fee just to drink your bottle in house : Overall, the experience was ok, but we all agreed we'd rather eat Asian or Italian nearby instead."

"In the middle of the old town, great friendly service. Eat! The appetizer Excellent and main dish with me too. With my accompaniment, a Schnitzel Viennese art is totally slate with Pomes. Shame! Everything's perfect."
