"Friends took us to this restaurant, recommending it as their favourite in the area and it certainly lived up to their praise! The restaurant has a lovely feel to it, tastefully decorated and good spacing between tables. The meal was just superb, a tasting menu of 7 courses, each one beautifully presented with a delicate blend of different flavours (there is no menu choice). Each dish was explained in detail by the waitress and service was discretely very efficient. Last but not least, this gastronomic delight was only €36 per person, which included a bottle of both red and white wine absolutely superb value! Hats off to the husband and wife team that run this restaurant .... we will definitely be going again!"

"Notre premier séjour de 3 jours à l'Ortensia. Tout était parfait. Cuisine raffinée qui réveille les papilles à chaque bouchée. Présentation des plats irréprochable. Très bon conseil des vins sans pour autant aller vers le plus cher. Accueil très chaleureux. Nous reviendrons. Merci à notre fille qui nous a envoyés à cette excellente adresse."

"A friendly small restaurant run by a welcoming husband and wife team; Magnus and Outi. I am vegetarian and my partner vegan and they were happy (with notice) to put together a really interesting vegan 3 course menu. Our friends dining with us were very pleased with the normal meat and fish menu. And all very reasonably priced notably the drinks. All in all a lovely evening"

"We were staying in nearby Laurens and ventured here on the back of visitor book and TripAdvisor reviews. Small place but they squeezed us in as arrived early. Had a lovely meal (top notch aioli with the prawn starter) for a reasonable price. Would definitely visit again if in the area."

"Top! Products served extra, of quality, fresh and dripping! Arrived by chance on Bedarieux, we were greeted with a smile; Moreover the excellent wine, the albacore tuna with herbs a feast! The balls of melons and tomatoes burrata a tuerie! We will not return by chance the next time..."
