food is great people are cool; been here a few times; the only thing I find a little bit unreasonable is the price of small stuff... like a cup of chowder or onion rings (6$ ...; when you review the bill and see this, it 's just like what!??? .... the only other thing is: the word chowder is supposed to have a thicker (heartier appearance; this is yet another restaurant that makes it more like soup... I 'm always sur... View all feedback.
What Patrick K doesn't like about 1750 Tap House:
Good service and fun, casual ambiance. The menu misses a lot and they don 't do the basics well (wings, nachos, etc. in my opinion. The beer cheese is basically liquid cheese poured onto some chips for nachos. I usually avoid it for dinner but ok for a drink with friends. View all feedback.
It is very hard for me to evaluate a place as five stars. I usually get four. The place was clean and unrestricted. Despite the increased workload, the servers were efficient and attentive, well-deserving their tips. Our first visit we ordered four appetizers and wounded with going home two boxes. Portion sizes are impressive. I was quite annoyed to find that they had two varieties of cheese frits, their poutins and active kegs. The Poutine engraving was a little mild, but otherwise very good, definitely in my top five favorites. The tater kegs impressed me more, a very tasty cheese sauce, with slices of Parmesan, and the possibility to add the meat to it. The hearty food alone. Even nachos were phenomenal. A mountain of chips melted in crushed cheese, cheese sauce, optional pulled pig, very good. Our second journey brought the old man and this sealed the five star rating. As a beer aficionado he was impressed by the selection, although it does not sadden any porters on the list. However, he found a Granola-Ale that thrilled him and reminded him of a porter pretty nice. He ordered the steak tips, which were perfectly cooked to the desired finish, and were soft and chewable. He was very happy. Better, he couldn't find a single thing to complain. Believe me, this is a fairy for itself. So if you're looking for some great food and a good brew and you're in the area, I would recommend giving this place a shot.
Wow this place is amazing!!! They had an amazing new gluten-free beer to try for me. Covered summit to try a Belgian wheat ale. So amazing if you like wheat ales and they miss when you went gluten-free, this is good for you to try. Pizza was so good. We definitely made the tree Hugger Pizza pizza perfect. I couldn't say enough about how amazing this place was. The service was amazing, the staff was attentive and the food and beer had so many possibilities that you only had to find out what you wanted, were the hardest options that we were facing my husband and me.
The atmosphere was good, nice little place. Service was great, everyone was attentive and friendly. The adult beverages were excellent, great variety and they have detailed in making drinks. Food was excellent and delicious. Although the price on some of our dishes was somewhat high, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
The food is very diversified and delicious. The staff was attentive and friendly. Cocktails for the most part were also good with the exception of 1, which was placed in the smallest glass while it should have been in an old fashion glass.
We started with cocktails. Our amazing waiter Josh brought us our drinks. We had the pear martini which was delicious. And we also tried the dark and stormy. That was equally tasty and so flavourful. We tried the haddock cakes for an appetizer. I was so surprised with the amount of flavor the two sauces that came with it had. The cakes were cooked perfectly. I asked for a side of Kung Pao sauce to drizzle for heat to add that to my cakes and it was the perfect mix of creaminess and heat on the fish. For dinner we had the white pizza and I asked for a side of marinara sauce to drizzle on top of my white pizza because I like sauce. You got to love ricotta cheese on a white pizza. There's no other way to have it. And for dessert we finished off with two gummy bear shots that were on special for $5 each. Total bill was 60 bucks before tip. Besides the amazingness of the food what really made the visit perfect was our fantastic waiter. Thank you Joshua.
