Service was okay but menu was very disappointing. I had looked up the menu online in advance and already chosen what I was going to have. When we got there the menu available was only a small selection of the menu on the website and even then, two of the items on this menu were unavailable so there were hardly any options and honestly nothing i really liked. I ordered Fish and Chips with saladthe salad consisted of soggy lettuce leaves. The fish was very dryovercooked.There was no table service we sat with plates of food as we had finished sitting in front of us for minutes.The waiting staff were very indifferentno service at all!I would not recommend the Commercial Hotel for a meal View all feedback.
The restaurant maintained the historic charm of the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere had a distinctly Australian feel. We enjoyed the fish and chips and steak sandwich.
Beechworth is a charming country town with a pub on almost every corner. All of them offer a decent place to relax and have a nap, but they vary in terms of amenities and atmosphere.
