Good food and wine options. I wish they’d change up the menu a little bit more often. It’s always been a good experience and the staff has been knowledgeable about the menu items and always willing to give a recommendation. What Giannina Klunk doesn't like about Pairings Bistro:
The cream of crab was my favorite but the randomness for how much crab was in my soup was the reason I did not return. One visit I had a lot of crab. A separate visit I couldn’t find more than a single piece of crab in my soup. For the soup being like $13 I definitely expected more crab for my soup. I’m giving this place 3 stars for a few reasons. First, my husband ordered a beer and the waiter brought out a more expensive beer and poured it. We just dealt with that. Then, I ordered risotto on the side but it didn’t come out with our meal, and I had to ask the waiter about 10 mins after getting our entree where the side order of risotto was. It came out cold. When we got our check, there was a “$12 upcharge” randomly added. When I asked the waiter what that’s for, he said “oh my bad that shouldn’t be on there.” And that felt very phony. It was almost like he was waiting to see if we would notice it so we would tip him more. I ordered the Seared Tofu and it literally tasted like eating a sponge. No flavor and super weird. My husband ordered the steak however and said it was very good. Overall, 3 stars because of the sketchy service and nothing to write home about food. $140 later for 2 entrees, one beer and one side, and honestly I wouldn’t come back. Very clean bathroom, very good food, I would definitely poop here again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Nice place with very good food more up market than most restaurants do expect to pay a little more however in life you only get what you pay for If you’re a steak person you’ll like them here and the shrimp and grits is excellent There’s also a bar scare you can sit at and eat there whilst having a beer or a glass of wine Great place Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
