As travelers from Connecticut, we were impressed with Dawg’s and there was nothing to complain about. We were looking for a sports bar so we could watch the UConn game as they were playing in the Big East finals. Our waitresses were very friendly and attentive when we asked for things. Rude staff. Food was awful. We tried here twice First time we had hair in our food. Tried again. The fries are super skinny and mushy. Wings are awful. The grilled cheese the cheese wasn’t even melted and the other part of our order was made wrong. They told us a 30 min wait. We waited over an hour for our stuff to be wrong and gross. Food was amazing, not as good as it used to be though.Service was decently quick, and I love the way it looks inside.

"The staff is sincerely polite, the food is expertly prepared, slightly unexpected in presentation, and so delicious that you will eat long after your hunger is sated. Do not expect to weigh less the day after a dinner here, but do expect to long for the recipes and skill to try to recreate the meal in your own kitchen. It is not inexpensive, but you will thoroughly enjoy each morsel. I look forward to returning to enjoy this restaurant again. My meal: baked brie appetizer; bistro ribs, with Brussels sprouts and micro carrots, and salad; almond cake for dessert. And I'd order it again if I didnt want so badly to try something else!"
