"I couldn't owe our visit. The food was hot and delicious, the best food we had in a restaurant for years. The food was so good, every bite was delicious. We had the spinach beginner incredible, it was hot and much of it... like the burgers a lot of food."

"I have lived around the corner from the Golden Valley for years, decided tonight to walk over and try them out. The wait staff was a little aloof but pleasant enough and bought our menus. Upon review, we decided to order some apps as the mains seemed pretty uninspired. Wow what a mistake. Our chicken wings where dry and chewy, the onion rings where mushy and tasteless, the deep fried pickle spears where also mushy and the mozzarella sticks where raw (cold) on the inside. When we brought this to the servers attention, she asked “had we not eaten here before” and asked if we would like desert. Won’t be going back, but have a good story to share."

"It was my husband's birthday and we wanted to celebrate his birthday with his father and our children. We had a reservation for 7pm. The hostess seated us a few minutes early and our server quickly took our drink orders and meal orders. She was pleasant. Our appetizers arrived quickly. Our server did not return to our table to refill our drinks or to explain why our order was taking so long. After 7:50, my husband asked the hostess to send a manager to our table. She was initially abrasive and overly defensive while he was expressing his frustration, but she finally agreed to try to solve the problem. At this point the waitress came back to refill our drinks for the first time. Our food arrived at our table at 8:06. Some of the food had cooled down, and was likely sitting in the kitchen too long. I made a trip to the washroom and none of the stalls had toilet paper and the garbage can was overflowing with paper towel. Another diner ahead of me announced this LOUDLY to the closest waitress she could find. The manager did give us a 20% discount on our meal, but we were so dissatisfied that we will not go back to this Swiss Chalet location again. What should have been a birthday celebration for my husband ended up being a very frustrating experience."
