It's not because I want basic poutine (once in Quebec I got a poutine with chicken fingers, hot dogs, & coleslaw on it & it was AMAZING), but I just find the poutine here to be sloppy & the fries get soggy much too easily. However, there is one saving grace - the off-menu item called The Slaughterhouse. read moreThis restaurant offers a variety of poutine options, from traditional to extravagant choices. Despite some concerns about cleanliness and slow service, the delicious off-menu item called The Slaughterhouse has left customers satisfied. The greasy and artery-clogging poutine may not be for the health-conscious, but its generous portions and late-night hours make it a perfect post-bar indulgence. Some customers have even received handwritten notes with their orders, showing the excellent service provided. Overall, if you are on the hunt for exceptional poutine in a casual setting, this restaurant is a must-visit.
