Marketplace Cafe - Bellevue

Nordies Grill always delivers a delightful dining experience with its charming atmosphere, delicious food (I recommend trying the crab bisque and crab louie salad), and excellent service from the friendly staff. They are always polite and accommodating.

The good: The greeting at the door, gift bag, flower bouquet, photos, and child's frame decorating table were well organized and executed. Bravo! The bad: Unfortunately, every aspect of the dining experience was disappointing. It is important to note that this was a limited choice fixed menu with a required reservation and upfront payment. The service was extremely lacking, to the point where I had to get up and serve our party of 7 myself, using the server station to gather everything we needed. The food order took an exceptionally long time, to the point where we were considering leaving and forfeiting our expensive upfront payment. The quality and presentation of the food were subpar and way overpriced. It was truly shameful. Being charged for the drinks we had while waiting felt like an insult. We will not be returning and strongly advise others to avoid this event.

I stopped by for a quick meal and ordered the shrimp salad and the roasted chicken salad with cilantro lime dressing. The salads were fresh and the seafood and meat were delicious. The service is self-service, but the staff is friendly and attentive.

This restaurant is a great place! The servers were very friendly and the food was high quality, although I did find a piece of plastic in my pasta once. I ordered 10 pieces of bread with my meal and only received 9, but that's okay. 10 pieces of bread can be a lot anyway. Everyone makes mistakes, so it's understandable. I also ordered penne alfredo and received a different type of pasta, but maybe they were just out of stock. Overall, the service and food were quite good.

The Google maps location is incorrect for The Marketplace Cafe. The restaurant is actually located on the 3rd floor inside the Nordstrom store. It is a great spot for a quick meal, though it may be slightly expensive, the food is delicious. The service is also quite speedy.
