The Wild Oat has struggled with consistency with their hours, staff, menu items and food quality. Some items, like the French dip, can be incredible if made well. My husband and I dined at this restaurant today, on their opening day, and we were extremely impressed! The meatball sub was perfect, the soups were very good, and the spanakopita was delicious! It was difficult to choose what to order because all of the dishes looked so appetizing. I wanted to order one of everything! I am excited to try their salads, other sandwiches, pasta dishes, and breads. The staff was also very friendly. We are thrilled to have an excellent vegan restaurant in Birmingham! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, as it offers delicious options for both vegans and non-vegans. Thank you, thank you, thank you Wild Oat for coming to town! 5 stars all the way!
We had a fantastic dining experience at this restaurant with delicious food and exceptionally friendly staff. We will definitely be returning soon! I highly recommend trying the biscuits and gravy.

Came to the first time after bellingham and it was difficult to find vegan options on the road. this place was a fantastic sound. so many options on the menu and gluten-free as well. they made the order extremely easy. prices are what they would be in a large chain restaurant for two people and that is plus that this is all vegan! I recommend this to everyone vegan and not vegan.
I love eating here it is my go-to for vegan meal desserts on a place. I have picked up many baked before thanksgiving this year
