"Ticino on the table A beautiful, typical grotto with a beautiful, large garden shaded by old trees, which invites you to linger even when the temperatures are high. The staff as well as the boss are extremely friendly and very accommodating. The Grotto offers typical Ticino cuisine, prepared with local ingredients. Despite the size of the location and the sometimes high number of guests, the dishes are perfectly prepared and served at the right time. The portions could be a Mü bigger. But that's my feeling. With my personal recommendation, the Brasato, I would have liked to have enjoyed a slice more (therefore one star less, a bit brutal). And yes, this Brasato, a dream. The cooked beef stew melts in your mouth and is accompanied by a wonderful sauce on the palate. A very special highlight of the Grotto Raffael is the chef himself. After supporting the service very diligently, he insists on picking up the guitar and spoiling the guests with Italian songs. This wonderful insert rounds off the Ticino ambience perfectly and gives everyone an enjoyable and atmospheric stay. perfecto Conclusion on our visits to the Grotto Raffael...we always like to come back and let ourselves be spoiled with culinary and musical delights in this wonderful, typical grotto. Ticino not only on the table, but also around it."
