We are regulars to Soods. Often we will pop in on the way home from an AFL match or straight from work. Takeaway or eat in you will not be disappointed. The menu is extensive. We have many favourite dishes - lamb, chicken or vegetarian. The nan bread is fresh and piping hot when it arrives to the table. Mango chutney is a must - brings out all the flavour in any dish. A great little restaurant that stands above its weight, especially the entrees. the fish amritsari is for dying, beautiful juicy pieces of fish with spicy gluten-free besan (chickpea flour) teig, plus the tandoori lambchops are generous and tasteful. well done mr. sood!
The first time we eat there, and we were pleasantly surprised by this local restaurant. we were greeted by the owner, the food was really good, as well as the service. we're coming back!
We live close, but never fed before. nice to eat with very good quality. we'll be back soon to take or eat.
Great delicious food and good variety. friendly waiting staff and excellent table service. the prices were really good. we would recommend soods as an authentic Indian cuisine.
Great to be out of lockdown and even better to head to Soods. A gem of a place in the Forest!
