"In recent years the pizzas are really hit or miss, especially the crust, which is why I gave it the score that I did. The crust is often tough, dry, and almost crackerlike. It's such a tradition to get Dave's pizza, we've been doing it since Rudy Anderson opened the business."

"On a Sunday late afternoon. faster, friendly service. eating was very good. we had our 11yo niece with us and she was also satisfied with her meal decisions. especially we enjoyed the loaded frits, the baked beans and the potato salad. the flesh was very good and I liked the brisket."

"Unbelievable, eats from the crater. all from the coffee to the cakes to the eggs were joined together with the love of a mother. had not been able to give the hummingbird cake a try, good chance my eyes roll back in my head, followed by a solid blackout, so I couldn't take the risk. id recommend bringing a strong family member and a stretcher because the portions are quite hearty. I'm close to the left in a body bag, but that won't stop me from coming back! also a great story about how the owner met her life-saving dream of being owned and operating a popular caffe. love to see and live the American dream while it is in action!"
