"We enjoyed a meal at this Chinese restaurant when visiting Benalla recently. Kim Wah was full to capacity midweek and take away business was brisk. The staff handled the busy dining room competently and our meal was delivered in a timely way. The menu was typical traditional Aussie Chinese so no surprises there but the dishes we chose were tasty and servings quite generous. I imagine food would be very consistent at Kim Wah as the place runs like a well-oiled machine."

"We stopped off for lunch on our way home to Melbourne. I had the Vietnamese pork belly roll. My wife had the smoked salmon bagel. Coffee was great as well. We'll be back on our next trips"

"The Benalla Bowls Club occupies a wonderful position. It abuts the Botanic Gardens and the view across the bowling greens to the trees beyond is delightful.This was my first time back in over two years and while it looks pretty much as it did last time, there seems to be a new liveliness and friendliness about the place. The staff are more alert, more customer-focussed.The Bistro menu is not extensive, but together with 3 or 4 daily specials, it offers a good choice. The meals are of a good standard and this is a definite improvement on our last visit. However... we waited 50 minutes for our meals (as did everyone else) which is quite unreasonable. In fairness, the waitress did apologise, explaining that there were more diners than they expected and the two kitchen staff were doing the best they could. I accept that this can happen, but surely they could have called someone in to help out. This aside, we enjoyed both the atmosphere and our meals."

"I love tandoori hut. The food is always so tasty. My favourite is the chicken Tikka and the korma! If you are after a tasty meal I recommend this restaurant. They do eat in or takeaway and even delivery. If you are after good food come here but if you are in a hurry it's probably not ur best option. The food usually takes about half an hour or more from ordering but it's worth it!"
