Based on the average review of 4.3, the Carretero is definitely worth a visit.

What Mike S likes about Carretero:
The other reviews are old.We went there in Ferbuary and could not have been made more welcome, tapas were fresh and drinks were not expensive.Definitely a Spanish bar but that's the way we like it.Going back in two weeks and it will be our local Sebastian the owner speaks perfect English and is very friendly .A family feel to it and all his family are nice and couldn't do enough for us. I think the restaurant has changed hands so watch this space. Another thing, this photo is definitely not the restaurant in Benalmadena! I have said average to be non-committal as I have not eaten there, just wanted to point some things out. View all feedback.
