A Summer evening meal with friends. I had a Calzone which I was very surprised contained a raw egg, which tells me that the temp of the pizza oven was not high...

Very good reception very friendly and honestly pizzas her rolled on the ground also tried the tiramisus (sorry if there are faults) they are really too well her...

"Lovely evening out with English friends. The new owners were very welcoming and accommodating. The suggestion that the wives would miss a starter and share their husband's was met without the bat of a Gallic eyelid so when the chef arrived with a small teaplate of the starter from the husband's portion but beautifully presented in its own right we were delighted-and as suspected the portion was of ample size to suit everyone. The main courses and desert were delicious-even the chips which accompanied a succulent steak -if they were frozen as is often the case they managed to hide it very well! Will definitely go again and be happy to recommend the place. Like buckmaster53 I cannot accept lindarichardcpr had a normal experience especially as a Sunday roast has not featured on the menu for a number of months as far as I know."

"We knew that Chef Stephane Villetorte was a member of the prestigous Toques Blanc so our expectations were high but they were ,in fact, far exceeded. As we approached the entrance to the restaurant (in a small country village, a little off the beaten track) we knew for sure we were in for a real treat. The outside of the restaurant is attractive and inviting. Through the bar with its dark wood and exposed stonework into the light and airy restaurant with tables well spaced and nicely set is a harmonious blend of old tradition and new decor. There is a good choice of menus, something for everyone. The menu of the day at 13 Euros looked to be very good value but we chose the 24 Euro menu(There is also a 27 and 33 Euro choice) Every course was indeed perfection both in the preparation and presentation, but the main of gunea fowl legs with a ginger and pineapple sauce with a side of the smoothest sweet potato puree was just exceptional, the legs were tender, succulent and full of flavour. The dessert of the chef 's own take take on Pears Belle Helene was sheer heaven. The service is excellent,pleasant and attentive waitresses who can explain any item on the menu that you are not sure about and with just the right amount of time between courses There is meticulous attention to every detail,the approach to the restaurant, the interior decor, the welcome, the ambience, the service and of course the preparation and presentation of the meal. We highly recommend Influence and will definitely be going back in the near future"

"We were looking for a lunch with friends near La Souterraine. We fell on this very friendly hostel. The service is very fast and the dishes are very good (with a choice between several entries, dishes and homemade desserts for a low price). The server was particularly smiling and pleasant. Besides, he was particularly charming, which doesn't ruin anything. I highly recommend and I will come back of course!"

"We were yesterday eating at home.On Saturday there are a lot of orders to take away, the safe waiting place and a little longer but it was necessary to wait there.
