"Brilliant local cuisine. Loved the Meat, the Croquettes, and everything else we tried.. Been here three times in the last few days, and went to a lot of others for the prior week. Super cheap for the quality and setting."

"We had a really great experience at Avenew on a quiet Tuesday night. Our hosts were personable and helped make for a memorable evening. We started by splitting the octopus salad. It was wonderful with a glass of a local rose. My wife had the cod with the rose and I had the duck with a really nice red blend. Both of us were quite happy with these (as well as tastes of each other’s main). Dessert with a port was also great. We’ll be happy to come back again!"

"Excellent otopus. in the mouth melt. beloved green wine! refreshing. dessert with caramel and banane was also very good. authentic and small place with many drawings and reviews donated to the wall. friendly staff. we loved every minute of our dinner."

"Delicious creative cocktails! Tried the shrimp brioche and ceviche oyster- so flavorful! I’ll be coming back here for appetizers drinks! It is a small establishment, but it’s worth the wait or the standing room only. Highly recommend it!"
