This was our third year in a row having lunch at El Merkadito. It is our tradition to stop by Puerto Morelos for a day during our week-long vacation at a resort close by. It is a cool/ refreshing place to eat with a view of the the ocean. The food and drinks are great. For example, the Margaritas are delicious. We always enjoy the guacamole. Nice beach location, good service, the raw tuna on tostada was melt in the mouth heaven. Drinks were decently strong however very expensive compared to cocktails at a nearby beach restaurant. Im marking it lower than the food deserves because I was pretty shocked at the bill. View all feedback.
One of my favorites in the city! The octopus is amazing. Beautiful view and amazing service. I was here 8 or 10 times and was always impressed!
