"Beautiful and very clean onsen and naturally fed from a hot spring. It offers variety of services beside onsen, eg: sand bath, onsen waterfall, and sauna. The onsen offers both indoor and outdoor. The indoor has an open air feel to it with a higher ceiling. There is a restaurant on-site, and it is reachable from Beppu train station by bus. I just walked here from the bus stop closest to the jigoku/hell that we visited. The private family rooms are all booked up as we just walked in and did not make earlier reservation."

"After eating here I 'm not sure I can go back to what we call 'sushi ' in America. This place took the sushi game to the next level. It raise my expectations of sushi to higher standard s. While being cheaper to what we pay in the us (about half or less). I 'm starting to save so I can go again."

"Came here for the experience. Food is quite simple but the steam cooking is great. Process involves buying a ticket for food. Putting your food in a steamer and cooking them with steam coming from underneath hot spring."

"We were surprised to find a vegan restaurant in Beppu, and over the moon to find it served wonderful tasty, organic vegan burrito/ Buddha bowls. The first night we had a chilli burrito bowl which was lovely; the following night we returned and Takashi had put together a wonderful salad and Buddha bowl with a bean patty (especially for us) which was outstanding. We also had a lovely glass of white wine and a scrumptious glass, or two, of saki! This gem of a restaurant tucked away in the side streets of Beppu, within walking distance of the station, is not to be missed. We highly recommend a visit."
