what a great little pub, good beer, good eating with good portions, all staff are fantastic, although it is a local pub, the regular do not treat them like an outsider in fact they are so friendly, and gast within 15 or so minutes we decided not to disturb to go somewhere else for a drink View all feedback.
Nice pub to visit while we are camping. also for taxi details.
Very nice and cozy pub serving super tasty and fresh food and drinks! We were just passing by with a car and decided to stop for a coffee but ended up eating soup of the day (carrot-ginger) and meat with potatoes, both sooooo good!
The Drax Arms is fantastic as a foreigner and I was greeted with open arms amongst some fantastic people. Everyone at this pub was more than kind and I've had a lovely time every time I've been by. The wait staff has been overly accommodating and I couldn't ask for more. A great place to enjoy a meal and play a game of snooker
By chance we found the Drax Arms when driving home on Sunday afternoon and in need of a meal. What a lovely pub. Welcoming and warm on a drab day. The food we enjoyed (fish and chips and the special'chicken stuffed with haggis' were delicious. Could not fault the welcome, the service or the meal. Well done
These guys that work here are awesome, so friendly, attentive and genuine. Friendly pub with a dart board and pool table
