"Amazing. We had the luck to meet Babu in the first haveli we visited. He was a great guide and by chance also part of the family who owns the restaurant. The food is fresh, simple and the welcome superb. Great host, great food. We got two complimentary tastes of typical food during our lunch. Menu is complete but not huge, for us a plus, meaning fresh ingredients. Nothing better in town. If you stay in this gem city or just pass by, stop here. We came from Mandawa with a private driver."

"This restaurant is part of D. S. Banglow Guesthouse which is located near Roop Niwas Palace. We had a fabulous meal here. It was an authentic, home style, freshly prepared vegetarian dinner. Portions were large and the price was more than reasonable. The owners, Pinky and Bunty, were warm and welcoming hosts. This was one of the better meals we had on our trip and we would certainly recommend the restaurant."
