If you didn’t grow up in NYC, then you don’t know how great this bagel shop is please don’t compare to Beauty Bagel or even Wise Sons. They’re not even the same realm (it’s like saying deep dish pizza is better than Napolitan pizza not a fair comparison). The bagels here are just PERFECT by a New Yorker’s standard. Normally Boichik is really good but today I ordered 6 bagels and a pint of shmear but my order got shorted by 3 bagels. Maybe part of this is on me for not checking my order closely but I haven't had to do that until now. read more.

"Seen this burger joint floating around HappyCow (locally) and wanted to give it a go. To my disappointment when I arrived, I found out it was just a rebrand of Veggie Grill. They're food is ok (VG) but I thought it was an independent restaurant. But to the food, I got their double burger and buffalo chikn. It's tasty BUT...the price point and size is my con. Just around the same size/price as Next Level Burger, so iykyk size price point don't meet. IMO, I'd rather pay the $2 extra (both burger and chikn sando) and go to Malibu's Burger in Oakland which is twice the size and filling. Which Stand-Up isn't (filling). A rare 3 star rating from me. "I don't know why Sliver Cheese Pizza tastes so much better than almost any other cheese pizza, but it just does. It also reheats well, although mildly greasy on re-heat but isn't that way fresh. I keep coming back to this because it's reasonably priced, easy to order for pickup, and so tasty"
