The bar is certainly located with good transport connections. There is a large beer garden for the summer. The place is popular for the meetups taking place there especially. As a part of the board games meetup I had the amazing experience and opportunity to be guest at the venue. On personal approach, I always felt satisfied as a customer. I used to go an a weekly basis there. I stopped after Nora, the blonde waitress and manager, harassed my group claiming that we did not order anything. We showed her the drinks but she asked us to move to another table. When we did, she harassed us again claiming that we were not supposed to move the chairs that were standing next to a wall and stay normally unused. Great atmosphere, lovely accommodating staff and great selections of drinks. We had the luxury of sitting at the bar and having a great laugh with Evan and Nora behind the bar! Would recommend to anyone visiting this wonderful city ️ ️X
Friendly staff. Good selection of beers. A well poured Guineas. Cozy atmosphere.
Gesellige Bar with international friendly staff. The beer and snacks are also recommended. The pool table and the kicker took care of the entertainment.
We celebrated new years at this place and really enjoyed it here. The Castle has a large number of tables and more chill couches, and also a seating group down the stairs and an open beer garden until 22:00. The main “attraction” is definitely the different craft beers (especially IPAs and Pale Ales), and of course then the house pils which cost €4 for a half liter. They also have some light snacks in case you get hungry.
Unfavourable shop, uninterested staff, unspectacular beer selection, high price level. The pizza looked good, one star. There is no reason to return here.
